Data manipulation: gain maximum time in the longest step of a statistical study

Coheris SPAD includes a very efficient Data Management tool that makes all these operations accessible to non-computer analysts, without need for programming

All data miners know that the longest phase in any study is the step where you search for good data, get a representative sample, convert this data so that it can be interpreted correctly by statistical algorithms etc. Coheris SPAD includes a very efficient Data Management tool that makes all these operations accessible to non-computer analysts, without need for programming.

Visual control of results

It consists of a workflow graphics tool that presents the chain of tasks constituting the data processing. The result of each processing step is displayed in a dedicated window and can be displayed in digital or graphical format. In fact, Coheris SPAD offers a very rich collection of graphics objects that can contribute at this level. The visual control of validity of results at each step decreases the risk of errors during handling.

Integration with R and opening inPython language

The type of processing to apply to each step must be selected from a library of conversion, recoding and statistical calculation functions.

Special processings can be defined in Python (script language), if necessary. If very special statistical functions are not available in Coheris SPAD, it is possible to call very rich open source software in R. The integration with R lets you benefit from functions as if they were native to Coheris SPAD (with the same interface and ease).

Coheris SPAD natively accesses the main databases: Oracle, DB2, SAS, Sybase and SQLServer (in ODBC for others), as well as text files in fixed format, delimited, Excel or SPSS.

Strenghts

  • Very big time saving for the person in charge of studies
  • Visual control of the result at each processing step
  • Unlimited processing capacity, thanks to opening in R and Python language
